Toss ‘Em in the Grinder
Sharp. Intentional. Persistent.
Quality over Convenience
Waking up to the aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans is refreshing. With its lasting scent, the sip of newly grounded beans captured by hot water which escaped to your cup is simply magically. The combination of coffee scent, taste and of course caffeine provides a unique morning boost!
Yes – You save five to ten minutes with a k-cup or grounded brand but the richness in flavor of whole beans is not up for debate! While many choose convenience or quality, the time and effort required for grinding produces an experience that is priceless.

There are many things in our personal and professional lives that we view as an inconvenience but may have a richer and positive effect in the long run. The list below commonly gets a side eye with no urgency but in practice can change the game.
1. No – That word has a negative connection as we view results. If the response is no, does that mean it is the final answer? No is an avenue for another opportunity or resource. No is not a closed door but an exit to make way toward what was created and meant for you.
Long term: You create the life, opportunity, relationship, and more that you want by persistence. Life becomes more meaningful.
2. Meal Prepping – For starters, it may seem like a tedious task to plan an entire week of meals.
Long term: Taking the time to plan normally results in healthier meals using fewer dollars.
3. Reading – Many start to fade (sleep) even with a book of interest. After working hours for someone else (employer), the comfort of a sofa and silence host sleep.
Long term: The more you read, the more you know. Do not just read headlines but read the actual articles. Grab a reputable magazine or newsletter that will grow you such as Black Enterprise, Forbes, Entrepreneur, National Geographic, and/or Fortune.
4. Waiting – In a world of apps for order pick-up, same-day shipping and open-table, some things still required patience. While it is not everybody’s season to reap everything, your time will come. Your blessings are not tracked by your Instagram timeline or society’s age expectations.
